Wayne Toups Show
seat at your own table for $20!
Dance floor available!

Wayne Toups won a Grammy, created his own “Zydecajun” genre, and brings the sounds & feel of Louisiana to Houston on Saturday, April 11th.  Thanks to Connie & Billy Stagner of Acori Diamonds & Design for sponsoring this show.

NOTE: We are selling the first 200 seats at tables for only $20 – the same price as Standing Room Only (SRO). But you must be the first to buy your seats, and you must buy the whole table (we have 2s and 4s). Once the tables are gone, you can still buy SRO tickets.
Buy your ticket HERE (NOTE: the ticket says $25 for Members and non-Members; however, if you are a Member, just enter your Member code at checkout and you’ll get $5 off).

We will serve crawfish outside under the covering starting at 6pm when doors open. We don’t know the price per pound yet, but it will be very cheap. We want you to come enjoy an affordable evening and a taste of Louisiana mudbugs and music.

Band begins at 7:30pm. Pay the babysitter extra, Toups tends to play up to 3 hours!

Wayne Toups’s Facebook describes his new project like this:

Wayne Toups and Royal BluGarou is an intimate and thrilling new way to see and hear all of your Toups favorites, like Take My Hand, Tupelo Honey, Johnnie Can’t Dance, and more. This small acoustic band is a stripped-down version of Toups’s popular songs with a whole new feel, and no loss of urgency. Toups showing off his raw vocals and mesmerizing accordion skills played alongside gutsy guitar riffs, fiddle, and harmonica. Embracing a spectrum of musical styles ranging from Cajun, Blues, Country, and Rock and Roll this is one show you don’t want to miss.

Venue Details
Republic Country Club & BBQ
11110 West Airport Boulevard, Stafford, Texas, 77477, United States
The RCC is the Republic Country Club & BBQ, a place where good people can relax and have a beer, a bourbon or some whiskey, and some proper slow smoked Texas BBQ, while listening to a musician croon his heart out around other like-minded people. RCC has a very relaxed atmosphere. The place has the feel of a sleepy old town that hasn’t been touched in a generation, so don’t criticize that we have nothing that is fancy or new. Our menu of food and drinks is well-crafted and lovingly curated. Our food is from Republic BBQ, next door on the same property. We have live music most Friday and Saturday nights. Often it will be someone whose name you don’t know, playing for a bar tab, trying to chase the dream. We hope to showcase some folks who need a barstool and a few willing listeners to hone their craft. We’ll ask that you pay attention to the band if you sit near the stage, and that if you wanna talk you respect them by moving to the back. We also have had some amazing national artists grace our little stage, including Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Tracy Byrd, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Charley Pride, Charlie Daniels, Robert Earl Keen, Cory Morrow, Pat Green, The Bellamy Brothers, and many, many more.
